I'm really, really sorry. I just couldn't resist this. According to Jan, the Vatican has issued a new Latin dictionary.
Apparently the latin for "hotdog" is pastillum botello fartum.
And if it isn't true, it ought to be!

Ah, well, you see. "Possum" (meaning "I can") goes with the infinitive. That's where yer problem was.

I was displaying my mental feebleness Jan.
I'd got as far as: Why something to do with saying be able - but there lots of different meanings to made from that sort of combination of words. So thanks for clearing it up.
I'll go and write it out 100 times. ;o)
