08/20/2002 Entry: "Help! (Please)"
Can anyone help?I've had an email from a reader of connexions who is no longer able to view the page. Imagine the tragedy of it! He's using Netscape running on Linux, and discovered about a week ago that the page would no longer display. I know there are some errors in the html that I really should fix, but as far as I know I haven't made any changes to the page in that time that would cause such a problem. I'd be hugely (hugely!) grateful if anyone has any suggestions, or even if anyone is in a position to confirm the problem. (Though I suppose if you are you won't be able to read this. Ho hum)

Yes Richard.... I too had problems connecting with your blog for the last few days. I'm running Netscape 4.72 under Windows XP and Netscape would just hang so apparently it had nothing to do with Linux. Glad to see you back on line.
We're looking forward to your next visit to Florida. Maybe you should try us in December or January when we're a bit cooler.

Terrific! Glad that one's sorted out. I suppose I should put back the webring code. But not tonight.

Yes Wood, but you've sold your soul to Micro$oft. ;o)Besides, I've been considering setting up a PC with Linux on it and I wouldn't like to deprive myself of my own blog!

You would not BELIEVE the trouble I have making my site visible to Netscape users on Linux.
Personally, I suspect it's their fault for being awkward :p
