01/01/2000 Entry: "Hava Nagila!"
Do you ever have days when a tune gets 'stuck' in your head, and no matter how you try it won't go away? Yesterday one of the students in the Chaplaincy put on a CD of Yiddish folk songs and ever since I keep finding myself humming 'Hava Nagila'. It really is most disconcerting. Quite a challenge to play on the tinwhistle, but it's good "half-holing" practice so I suppose I should make the most of it.
