"I love it when a plan comes together," a great man was fond of saying, but the opposite is also true. My plans for the morning are stymied and the first thing I have to do is revamp them. But only after I've complained about it here!

With men of (ahem!) "a certain generation", I think you could call it big. Many happy memories for me, anyway.
