03/10/2004 Entry: "Malaysian elections"

Bene Diction points us to IreneQ and a reminder that Malaysia is facing crucial elections in which religion will play a vital role. I don't know that I've ever before heard a politician claim that the way you vote can make the difference between eternal bliss or damnation, but I suppose it makes a nice change to see one thinking long term!
All humour aside, it is too easy to forget the struggles that face nations outside our own. Let's remember to pray for Malaysia and her people, and for the elections on March 21st.
