The UK's Office for National Statistics has revealed that Jack was once again the most popular name given to boys in 2003. The most popular girl's name was Emily. There's a fascinating look at the changing fortunes of names over the course of the 20th century. I don't know what it means, but it's fascinating nonetheless.
